Apple Joins the Smartphone Price War

Apple’s latest price cuts are part of an ongoing price war among major smartphone manufacturers. Google and Samsung have also introduced significant discounts on their flagship models. Google is currently offering between $134 and $310 off its Pixel 9 series, while the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8a are also available at reduced prices.Samsung, on the other hand, has launched an aggressive trade-in deal, offering £200 ($251) for any smartphone in any condition when purchasing the Galaxy S25 Ultra. The Korean tech giant confirmed that even older models, like a Google Pixel 1, qualify for the deal. Additionally, U.S. buyers can benefit from enhanced trade-in prices and a $300 credit towards Samsung’s top-tier devices, including the Galaxy Z Fold 6, which has also seen a $300 discount.
