New 7 Wonders of the Nature campaign was started by the New7Wonders Foundation, which is a soon going to become a reliable global search for people, through the source people will get to know the new seven wonders of the nature background in the world as voted by the public. A pop-up remote booth poll has been set on the Island of Upulo Cay at the Great Barrier Reef, surprisingly the poll is located in the middle of ocean. However, this did not stop visitors and travelers in supporting the campaign. Many enthusiastic Australians and visitors contributed in the Voting at the Great Barrier Reef.
There are more 440 sites in the competition against two Australians sites including the Great Barrier Reef and Uluru. Fortunately, both natural spots have been short listed and nominated in the list of 28 most scenic sites of the world. The competition is still on and will be decided based on votes cast by public. There are many other finalists alongside two of Australian’s most famous wonders, Angel Falls of Venezuela, Milford Sound of New Zealand, Bay of Fundy in Canada, and Grand Canyon and Amazon of the USA are few names to include nominated as the 28 finalists. The campaign is on its ace of final being in the third and final stage of voting, so if you are living in Australia you should cast your vote for the Great Barrier Reef and Uluru to make them globally popular icons of the 7New Wonders of the Nature Background Campaign.
