Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi on Sunday (March 2, 2025) showcased the Xiaomi 15 Ultra and Xiaomi 15 at the ongoing Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025. The new Xiaomi 15 series brings the Leica tuned camera and HyperOS 2 based upon Android 15.

The Xiaomi 15 series also features AI tools for writing, speech recognition, image enhancement and video shooting. Xiaomi has partnered with Google to integrate Gemini directly with Xiaomi apps with access to Xiaomi Notes, Calendar, and Clock.

Both, Xiaomi 15 Ultra and Xiaomi 15 run the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. The Xiaomi 15 has UFS 4.0 storage while Xiaomi 15 Ultra is equipped with UFS 4.1 storage technology. Xiaomi 15 Ultra comes in 16 GB/512 GB configurations while the Xiaomi 15 is available in 12 GB/512 GB variant.

Xiaomi 15 Ultra ships with a 5,410 mAh battery supported by a 90 W charger and 80 W wireless support. The Xiaomi 15 features a 5,240 mAh battery with a 90 W charger and 50W wireless charging.

Launched already in China, Xiaomi 15 Ultra brings a 6.73 inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, and 3,200 nits of peak brightness.

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra sports a main 50 MP Leica 1-inch sensor, 200 MP Super telephoto lens, a 50 MP floating telephoto lens and a 50 MP ultrawide camera. It has a 32 MP front camera.

Similarly, Xiaomi 15 features a 6.36 inch AMOLED display with 3,200 nits peak brightness.

Xiaomi 15 sports a triple-camera system with a 50 MP main sensor, a 50 MP ultrawide camera, and a 50 MP telephoto lens. It has a 32 MP front camera.

The Xiaomi 15 will be available starting at EUR 999 (around ₹90,834) for the 12 GB/256 GB variant, while the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will be available from EUR 1,499 (around ₹1,36,296) for the 16 GB/512 GB model.

Xiaomi will announce the India details and availability for the Xiaomi 15 series on March 11.
