As Apple Music hits its 10-year mark, the company is setting up a new studio space in Los Angeles aimed at supporting artists and experimenting with audio formats. Slated to open this summer, the space is designed for artist-led content and collaborative projects, with an emphasis on storytelling and sound innovation. It marks a notable step in Apple’s ongoing efforts to stay connected with the creative community and shape how music is produced and experienced.

Apple Music’s new three-story studio space in Los Angeles spans over 15,000 square feet and is designed to serve as a working environment for artists and creators. The facility includes two radio studios equipped for live interviews, performances, and Spatial Audio playback, as well as a 4,000-square-foot soundstage for shoots, fan events, and screenings.

There’s also a dedicated Spatial Audio mixing room featuring a 9.2.4 PMC setup, along with production spaces like a social media lab, edit suite, and green room. Additional features include isolation booths for writing or podcasting, and two corridors displaying visual highlights from Apple Music’s decade-long history.

Apple Music Radio has become a core part of the platform’s identity, offering a space where artists and fans connect in real time. Over the years, it’s featured global song premieres, artist interviews, themed specials, and live sessions building a reputation for curated programming that blends storytelling with music. Streaming 24/7 and available globally at no cost, the service continues to shape how audiences engage with new and familiar sounds.

To mark its 10th anniversary, Apple Music Radio is rolling out a week-long slate of specials and live programming. The lineup begins on June 30, with a two-hour broadcast titled “Don’t Be Boring: The Birth of Apple Music Radio with Zane Lowe and Ebro Darden,” airing from 6 to 8 a.m. PST. The show will reflect on the platform’s early radio experiments and the rise of artist-led programming, featuring conversations with longtime hosts and guests.
