Samsung on Saturday (July 19, 2025) claimed that its recently launched Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE have together got 2,10,000 pre-orders in the first two days in India. Samsung’s seventh generation foldable phones were launched on July 9 and went for pre-ordering on the same day.
The compete with Vivo X Fold 5 and Motorola Razr 60 series.
The new Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE run on One UI 8 based upon Android 16 out of the box.
Galaxy Z Fold 7 has an 8 inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with 2,600 nits peak brightness and a dynamic refresh rate of 120 Hz. The cover display is of 6.5 inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with similar brightness and refresh rate. The cover screen of the phone gets Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 protection while the back has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2.

Galaxy Z Fold 7 ships with a 4,400 mAh battery and it supports 25 W charging along with wireless charging option. It is IP48 rated for dust, water and immersion.
Galaxy Z Fold 7 runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor with up to 16 GB RAM and 1 TB storage.
The Galaxy Z Fold 7 sports a 200 MP main camera along with a 12 MP ultrawide which acts as macro too and a 10 MP telephoto lens. The cover screen holds a 10 MP selfie lens while the inner display front camera has been increased to 10 MP.
Galaxy Z Flip 7 gets a 6.9-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel with a 120 Hz adaptive refresh rate and peak brightness of 2,600 nits. The cover screen is now a 4.1-inch Super AMOLED display, supporting up to 120Hz refresh rate as well.
Galaxy Z Flip 7 is powered by the new Exynos 2500 processor, paired with up to 12 GB RAM and 512 GB storage.
It packs a 4,300 mAh battery and supports 25 W wired charging along with wireless charging.
In terms of optics, the device sports a 50 MP main camera with OIS, a 12 MP ultrawide lens, and a 10 MP selfie camera on the inner display. It comes with IP48 rating for dust and water resistance.
Samsung introduced a more affordable option in its foldable lineup with the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE. It features a 6.7-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X main screen with 120 Hz adaptive refresh rate and a 3.4-inch Super AMOLED cover display. Both displays come with rounded corners and support similar visual experiences as the premium Flip model.
It runs on the Exynos 2400 processor and is offered in configurations of 8 GB RAM with up to 256 GB storage.
The phone is equipped with a 4,000 mAh battery and supports 25W fast wired charging.
Camera setup includes a 50 MP main sensor with OIS, a 12 MP ultrawide lens, and a 10 MP selfie shooter. It is IP48 certified for protection against dust and immersion.
Galaxy Z Fold 7 comes in Blue Shadow, Silver Shadow, Jetblack and Mint colours. It starts at ₹1,74,999. Galaxy Z Flip 7 sells in Blue Shadow, Jetblack, Coral-red and Mint, starting at ₹1,09,999, while the Galaxy Flip 7 FE is available in Black and White at ₹89,999.
