Amazon to invest over $5 billion in Mexico data centre

During the announcement with Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum, Paula Bellizia, director of Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Latin America, stated that the new centre reflects Amazon’s “commitment to Mexico.” Amazon Web Services, which already operates a data centre in Brazil, also revealed plans for two more centres in Santiago, Chile.
