Canva on Thursday (October 30, 2025) announced the launch of its consolidated AI Visual Suite with both old and new AI features, as well as an integration with the design platform Affinity, as it rolls out what it calls a ‘Creative Operating System.’

Canva’s new Creative Operating System introduces its Video 2.0 video editor, email design functions, digital forms, and Canva Sheets/Canva Code integration.

As part of its latest AI layer, the company announced a Canva Design Model that can generate editable content in seconds, enhanced AI integration for multimedia designs, and an ‘Ask @Canva’ feature to assist users.

The company further unveiled the Canva Business plan aimed at individuals, marketers, and small teams that require AI, analytics, and brand tools. Canva noted the plan was aimed at “bridging the gap between Canva Pro and Canva Enterprise.”

Canva unveiled a free, new Affinity offering that includes and streamlines tools such as vector editing, image manipulation, and advanced layout design. Affinity users can make assets and then move them to Canva for additional processes. Canva noted that one universal file type would be used so designers will not have to switch between programmes.

Canva shared that it had over 260 million monthly active users, $3.5 billion in annualised revenue, and a valuation of $42 billion.

“We’ve been thinking about how we can empower our community to succeed in this era, which is why we’re incredibly excited to unveil our biggest launch yet with the all-in-one Creative Operating System. From major upgrades to our Visual Suite with Video, Email, and Forms, to a powerful new AI layer and tools to grow your brand and business, we can’t wait to see how people use all of these new products to bring their ideas to life,” said Canva Co-Founder and CEO Melanie Perkins in a statement.
