OnePlus 13 launching in January 2025, the company confirms

OnePlus on Monday (December 2, 2024) announced the global launch of OnePlus 13 which also includes the India market. Succeeding the OnePlus 12 launched in January this year, the upcoming OnePlus 13 is expected to ship with Snapdragon 8 Elite. It is likely that OnePlus 13R and a new wireless earbuds may also accompany the OnePlus 13.

Launched already in China, the OnePlus 13 will be the first OnePlus phone to secure an IP68 and IP69 ratings, the company confirmed. The OnePlus 13 said to bring gen AI features as well.

The Chinese smartphone maker also confirmed three colour variants of OnePlus 13 including Midnight Ocean, Black Eclipse and Arctic Daw. The Midnight Ocean will also be the first phone to feature micro-fiber vegan leather.

OnePlus 13 will ship with Hasselblad tuned lenses as evident from the image. It is expected to use triple 50 MP lenses at the back and a 32 MP selfie shooter.

OnePlus 13 may use a 6.82 inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and up to 4,500 nits peak brightness.

It is likely to debut with OxygenOS 15 based upon Android 15 out of the box in India. There could be 16 GB RAM and 512 GB on board storage.

OnePlus 13 is expected to run on a 6,000 mAh battery coupled with a 100 W charger inside the box.

OnePlus 13 will launch in January 2025 for the premium flagship buyers in India. However, the company did not reveal the exact day of the launch.
