OnePlus Nord 5 and Nord CE 5 to launch on July 8 along OnePlus Buds 4 in India

OnePlus on Monday (June 16, 2025) formally announced the launch of OnePlus Nord 5 and OnePlus Nord CE 5 on July 8 at 2PM IST. The Chinese smartphone company will also launch the OnePlus Buds 4 along with Nord 5 series.

“The Nord 5 series marks a significant leap forward in mid-range smartphone performance, making flagship-grade power accessible to consumers,” said OnePlus.

The OnePlus Nord 5 will run on the 4nm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor with LPDDR5X RAM, the company confirmed. With the Snapdragon Elite Gaming and support for with hardware-accelerated real-time ray tracing, OnePlus also eyes the gaming front with the Nord 5.

The OnePlus Nord 5 claims to offer Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) at a native 90fps. Additionally, it will run Call of Duty Mobile natively at 144fps.

Nord 5 features a thermal management system with Cryo-Velocity VC cooling with 7,300 mm² heat dissipation surface area and flagship-grade graphene thermals identical to OnePlus 13, said OnePlus.

The OnePlus Buds 4 will have dual drivers, dual DACs, Hi-Res LHDC 5.0 and 3D Audio. It claims a 47ms ultra-low latency in Game Mode. IOnePlus Buds 4 will sell in Zen Green and Storm Gray.

These devices will be sold on Amazon in India along with OnePlus and retail stores.
