Oppo A5 Pro 5G mid ranger phone launched in India

Oppo on Thursday (April 24, 2025) launched the Oppo A5 Pro 5G mid-ranger smartphone with IP69, IP68, and IP66 certifications for water and dust resistance. It is military standard certified as well for durability.

The Oppo A5 Pro 5G has a 6.7 inch display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, and 1,000 nits peak brightness.

It runs on a 5,800 mAh battery supported by a 45 W charger inside the box.

The Chinese smartphone company has used MediaTek Dimensity 6300 in Oppo A5 Pro 5G with 8 GB RAM and up to 256 GB storage. It operates on ColorOS 15 based on Android 15.

Oppo A5 Pro 5G ships with a 50 MP main camera, a 2 MP portrait lens. It has an 8 MP front camera. The phone also has the underwater photography mode.

Oppo A5 Pro 5G has gen AI tools like AI Summary, AI Rewrite, Screen Translator, AI Writer, AI Reply, and AI Recording Summary, supporting both Hindi and English.

Oppo A5 Pro 5G starts at ₹17,999 for the 8 GB/128 GB variant and ₹19,999 for the 8 GB/256 GB. It will sell on Amazon, Flipkart, Oppo Store, and mainline retail outlets, in Mocha Brown and Feather Blue colours.
