Ray-Ban Meta smart AI glasses with live translation coming soon to India, the company announces

Meta on Tuesday (April 22, 2025) announced that its Ray-Ban Meta glasses will be coming soon to India. The AI glasses let users to click photo, translate, take calls and listen to music or podcasts.
The U.S. based tech giant is also rolling out their live translation feature to all markets which supports English, French, Italian and Spanish. Users can see the see the translated transcript on their phones.
Now, the Ray-Ban Meta glasses users will be able to send and receive direct messages, photos, audio calls, and video calls from Instagram on your glasses, along the feature to make calls and send messages through WhatsApp and Messenger, as well as the native messaging app on your iPhone or Android phone.
Meta is also expanding access to music apps including Spotify, Amazon Music, Apple Music, and Shazam beyond the US and Canada. Users can now ask Meta AI to play music and listen to their songs only if default language is set to English. This includes the ability to ask Meta AI for information about the music they are listening to.

Meta is expanding access to Meta AI on Ray-Ban Meta glasses in more countries in the EU today, and starting next week, it will roll out the ability for users to ask Meta AI about the things they’re looking at and get real-time responses to all our supported countries in the EU.
Buyers can also opt for new Skyler Shiny Chalky Gray with Transitions Sapphire lenses, apart from Skyler Shiny Black with G15 Green lenses or Skyler Shiny Black with Clear lenses.
Ray-Ban Meta glasses start at $299.
